Volunteer Opportunities

2010 Temple Meetings (Fridays): February 12, June 4, and October 15
       — 6:00 to 7:00 pm Kirtan Meditation
       — 7:00 to 8:15 pm Temple Meeting (Refreshments served afterwards)

On the above Fridays (check Calendar), temple members and the Minister gather in the chapel to discuss temple activities. Many feel this is a great way to meet other members and help further Paramahansa Yogananda's work. Service opportunities are presented. Areas of service include flower arranging, gardening, cleaning, ushering, serving in the Bookroom, Sunday School teaching, and helping with special events.

Volunteer Forms are available at the temple meetings and at the Information Table and a pdf version is included here for your convenience. Please mail completed form addressed to the Minister at 3072 First Ave., San Diego 92103 or deliver it to the Information Table attendant on Sunday morning.

Many members enjoy the fun and fellowship on these days dedicated to maintaining the temple. Activities include: gardening, minor building repairs, and cleaning.
